Serving both locals and visitors, our shop is the perfect place if you’re looking to SUP, kayak, or surf. Although equipment can be taken to many locations, we are conveniently located just one traffic light from the Wailua River (1/4 mile)!

Although you can take the boards to many spots, our shop is conveniently located only one traffic light away from the Wailua river (1/4 mile)!

As Hawaii’s exclusive dealer of DAX Board Co. Paddleboards, Kauai SUP offers a unique line of SUP boards previously not available in the State of Hawaii. A lot of rental shops boast having the best equipment but here at Kauai SUP we truly do. We are able to design and make our stand up paddle boards to suit our unique paddling conditions offering an experience no other shop can match. Instead of just offering the typical one size fits all "resort board",

At Kauai SUP your appropriate rental SUP board will be hand selected by our professional staff based on your size, ability and destination. On top of the best board you will also be using a light weight carbon fiber paddle.

Getting the customer on the right board and paddle make's the difference, whether its the extra stability for the novice paddler or the extra glide to get you up Wailua River with less fatigue.

Kauai SUP stocks many sizes and shapes from all around cruiser SUP's to Performance SUP Surf models ranging in sizes 8-12 ft. Want to buy a board but aren't sure what size or shape you are looking for? If you want to try out a board before buying it, you can rent it for a day and the money will go towards your purchase price.
